PHOTOPARAPHRASES – I made these photographs in 1992, They are pure photographs, without any "after-effect"-manipulations;
only the naked body, the lights, the camera and me... In logical case
there must be a background also, but not here: there was an "internal"
half-transparent layer with artistic imprints of mines between the model
and the camera. As a result I made my photoparaphrases of Rembrandt's
or Michelangelo's etc. visual "Ars Poetica" using only the visual language of
"clean" photography: colors, forms and lights... And composition, of
course.
Camera: Rolleiflex 3,5 F Model 3, analogue.
